PHILIPPINE SEA AND SIBUYAN SEA ADVISORY / UPDATE May 29, 2024 As of 09:05 AM
WARNING: This is to remind the public for the Philippine Sea and Sibuyan Sea water level and sea condition in the past 2-days after Typhoon AGHON passes the Philippines. In the past 2-days, the Philippine Sea and Sibuyan Sea water level and sea condition are in a normal way and running their forecast normal. The PHITIDES abducted all the information data from the two (2) seas that are affected by “AGHON” in the past 2-days. The Sea Tracking and Measuring Administration or STMA manages its condition of the sea water level. The Philippine Sea conquered the water leveling, the data from the sea was at an abnormal level and also in the forecast that was not arranged due to its water leveling. Sibuyan Sea abducted the water leveling, the sea did not conquer any water leveling, also the sea did not abduct casualties or damages from the land. On 28 May 2024, the PHITIDES noticed and reported the Philippine Sea and Sibuyan Sea in a normal condition and did not conquer any damages to Sibuyan Island. The DOST-PAGASA issued an update saying the Severe Tropical Storm has developed into a Typhoon. After the issuance the STMA team managed the sea condition in a proper way. We did not issue an update after the day of our issuance on May 26, 2024. However, the Philippine Sea still has a high chance of 80% strong waves occurring, high tides and tidal flooding from small shores due to the Typhoon AGHON moving northeastward and moving out from the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). As of now, the PHITIDES is under observation of the Philippine Sea water level by using the tide forecast that is running through its time scheduled today and tomorrow. We rest assured to do our best for the better. We will update everyone on time. The next advisory and update will be issued unless the data of sea-level change is possessed. PEOPLE NEAR THE SEA ARE NOT PROHIBITED TO DO LOCAL ACTION IN THE SEA. FISHING AND SWIMMING IN THE SEA ARE NOW ALLOWED. For the information of all, the PHITIDES will closely manage and monitor the sea condition to inform and update all concerned stakeholders. |
